Pascha nostrum
for four voices or four-part chorus unaccompanied
This is an original adaptation of the Latin text ‘Pascha nostrum’. This four-part round is intended for Easter Day as a celebration. A supporting keyboard accompaniment may be added for effect.
Pascha nostrum immolatus est Christus, alleluia.
Itaque epulemur in azymis sinceritatis et veritatis, alleluia.
Christ our Paschal Lamb has been sacrificed, alleluia.
Therefore, let us keep the feast with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth, alleluia.
First performed in 2019 at St Bartholomew’s Anglican Church, Burnley.
